Powder Coating

Wrexham Powder Coat Limited offers a variety of surface blasting services. Our blasting services allows us to clean and prepare any metal surfaces to ensure the very best finish is achieved.

At Wrexham Powder Coat Blast Cleaning is carried out to remove the mill scale, rust, paint and any other contaminates from the metal to ensure we achieve a professionally clean surface before powder coating. Making sure the blast cleaning process is completed to a high standard is essential to achieving the highest quality coating to all of your products.

All of our blast cleaning is carried out manually within our compressed air blast room. Wrexham Powder Coat uses Various abrasives to blast clean all depending on the surface finish required.

We pride ourselves on customer service so where Blast Cleaning may not be suitable for your type of component we will manually degrease using suitable degreasing solutions.

Our Compressed air blast room is 6M x 2.3M.

Powder Coating

Powder Coating is a durable, attractive and gives a long lasting finish. When powder coating is applied to the highest standards it will give you years of protection to your metal components.

Here at Wrexham Powder Coat ,we use an electrostatic method to a suitably prepared metal surface. Our electrostatic process ensures an even film thickness is applied all over your component no matter what shape or size. This method beats the wet paint method hands down leaving you with a fantastic coverage.

Coatings which can be applied are: Polyester, Epoxy Polyester, Nylon Coating (Warm Touch) and Zinc Rich Primer. The Zinc Rich Primer we use can be applied prior to coating to give a greater corrosion protection.

All our coatings are available in a range of colours including RAL classic , RAL effect ,RAL designs, BS and Pantone.

We also offer a range of finishes including Smooth , Texture , Metallic ,Pearlescent! All of our Coatings here at Wrexham Powder Coat are available in Full Gloss,Semi Gloss or a Matt Finish.

Our oven size measures 4.9M x 2.5M with a height of 2.5M

Wheel Refurbishment

Wrexham Powder Coat Limited offers a total wheel refurbishment service, We can offer a wide range of finishes. We offer wheel restoration to all of our customers including commercial and domestic.

Wrexham Powder Coat has a fantastic reputation for wheel restoration offering a professional finish to your wheel refurbishments. We work along side the European OEM industry allowing us to be able to colour match all major car manufacturers.

Let us take you through the process…..

Firstly the tyres need to be off the wheels, this is something we can help with if needed. We must remove any dirt, grime and grease that are on the wheels, once this is completed we will then chemically strip the wheels which allows us to start the bead blasting process to remove any corrosion from your wheels. This process removes a fine layer of alloy exposing a fresh new look for the wheel.

Thinking about our customers safety at all times Wrexham Powder Coat won't refurbish wheels that have already been refurbished a number of times if we feel the process will result in a weak and unsafe wheel. Once these processes have been completed we then start to coat the wheels in your choice of colour using a smooth flow primer to give the wheel added protection against corrosion.

Please make note that we have a turn around of 2 - 3 days from the wheels being accepted by our team but this may change due to availability.

All the items that come to WPC are checked and Blast Cleaned taking it back down to bare metal. We then Powder Coat your items in you chosen colour bring your old looking items back to its restored self.

We can match or duplicate almost any finish, Many colours and texture options are available just ask the team.
