All blast cleaning is carried out manually within our dedicated compressed air blast room, measuring 6m x 2.3m. This controlled environment allows us to deliver precise and consistent results. At Wrexham Powder Coat, we utilise an advanced electrostatic application process on carefully prepared metal surfaces. This technique ensures an even, consistent film thickness across every part—regardless of shape or size—delivering superior coverage and a finish that outperforms traditional wet paint methods.

We offer a wide range of coating options, including Polyester, Epoxy Polyester, Nylon Coating (Warm Touch), and Zinc Rich Primer. The Zinc Rich Primer can be applied as a base layer to enhance corrosion resistance, providing added durability for demanding environments.

Our coatings come in an extensive selection of colours, including RAL Classic, RAL Effect, RAL Design, British Standard (BS), and Pantone shades. We also provide various finishes such as Smooth, Textured, Metallic, and Pearlescent, available in Full Gloss, Semi-Gloss, or Matte.

Our powder coating oven measures 4.9m x 2.5m with a height of 2.5m, allowing us to accommodate components of various sizes efficiently.

Firstly the tyres need to be off the wheels, this is something we can help with if needed.  We must remove any dirt, grime and grease that are on the wheels, once this is completed we will then chemically strip the wheels which allows us to start the bead blasting process  to remove any corrosion from your wheels. This process removes a fine layer of alloy exposing a fresh new look for the wheel. 

Thinking about our customers safety at all times Wrexham Powder Coat won't refurbish wheels that have already been refurbished a number of times if we feel the process will result in a weak and unsafe wheel. Once these processes  have been completed we then start to coat the wheels in your choice of colour using a smooth flow primer to give the wheel added protection against corrosion.

Please make note that we have a turn around of 2 - 3 days from the wheels being accepted by our team but this may change due to availability.
